I’m Benjamin Pitt, a rising junior, and it’s my first year at Greenhouse Studios. I major in History and Latin American Studies, and I seek to declare a minor in Political Science this upcoming academic year. I’m also planning to continue narrowing the topic of my Honor’s thesis, which will explore the multi-layered character of U.S. foreign policy in Latin America through personal relations, ideological conviction, and national interests.
At Greenhouse Studios, I want to build on my skills of collaboration and my ability to use different tools to research and create projects. I’m excited to interact with other like-minded people and understand how they express their interests through different mediums. Through these interactions and collaboration, I wish to integrate that creativity into my own work.
Once I graduate, I would like to attain a master’s degree in International Relations and join an organization which promotes human rights and conciliatory, multilateral processes in the Western Hemisphere.
In my free time, I love to travel to faraway places, learn languages, and read history books.
