Welcome to the Team: Kate Czajkowski

Hey! My name is Kate Czajkowski and I am an undergraduate student majoring in Political Science and Human Rights with a minor in Global Studies. I also work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for Dr. Evan Perkoski in the Political Science Department where I am researching how the membership of armed rebel groups affects group behavior.

I’m excited to join the Greenhouse Studios team because I believe their innovative publication methods are the future of humanities research. It just makes sense— allowing users to not only visualize but also interact with humanities research will enable research teams to engage with their audience in more dynamic and meaningful ways. I am eager to contribute to this forward-thinking environment and help push the boundaries of how we understand and disseminate knowledge in the humanities.

In the future, I hope to use the research and collaboration skills I’ve gained at Greenhouse as a national defense analyst. Greenhouse’s emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration will help me develop a broader perspective of humanities research and enable me to work effectively with experts from different fields. Understanding diverse viewpoints and integrating various areas of expertise into my work is essential for addressing complex security challenges.

In my free time, I serve as a Student Representative to the UConn Presidential Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility and as the Hartford County Regional Director for the Connecticut Youth Political Advocacy Center (CYPAC). I am also a member of UConn Quiz Bowl, UConn Law Society, and Empowering Women in Law. You can typically find me reading, watching movies, listening to music, traveling the world, or adding to my vintage clothing collection!
